Five Members of Winchester Hospital’s Medical Staff Honored as Top-Rated Doctors

Winchester Hospital ‘Top Docs’ Honored by Boston Magazine

Winchester, MA (December 3, 2015) – Five members of Winchester Hospital’s medical staff were honored as top-rated doctors in their respective specialties in the December special edition of Boston Magazine featuring the 2015 list of Top Docs in Greater Boston.

This list is comprised of a total of 647 physicians selected by their peers in more than 50 specialties. Winchester Hospital’s honorees are colorectal surgeon Dennis Begos, MD, FACS, FASCRS of Commonwealth Surgical Associates in Stoneham; ophthalmologists David Gendelman, MD and Phillip Gendelman, MD of Burlington Eye Associates; gastroenterologist Jose Manuel Marcal, MD of Digestive Health Associates in Stoneham; and Peter Tiffany, MD of Mystic Valley Urological Associates, Inc. in Stoneham.

“This is a great achievement for these physicians to be honored with this recognition,” said Dale Lodge, CEO of Winchester Hospital. “Every day our highly-talented medical staff works diligently to provide our patients with the best care. And it is an honor to work with such dedicated professionals.”

To identify the area’s best doctors, Boston Magazine partnered with New York-based Castle Connelly Medical Ltd., a health care research and information company founded in 1991 to help guide consumers to America’s top doctors and top hospitals.
