Free valet parking is available for patients and visitors at Winchester Hospital’s main campus. The service is offered Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., except on holidays.

Winchester Hospital is offering the service through Beverly, Mass.-based Curbside, which provides valet parking to 50 hospitals in 15 states including Massachusetts.

“Convenient and accessible parking has long been a challenge for us at our main campus,” said Brad Ross, director of security, transportation and parking at Winchester Hospital. “Over the past several years, we have relocated as much employee parking as possible to dedicate our available spaces to our patients and visitors. By adding valet parking, we hope to take another step toward better meeting the needs of our patients and their friends and families.”

Patients and visitors may access the valet parking service by entering the hospital’s main campus via Fairmount Street and following brightly colored signs to the drop off/pick up area (near the building’s Emergency Department entrance). When patients and visitors are ready to leave, they can simply return to the drop off/pick up area to request their car directly from the valet, or they can call extension 2500 which will ring the Service Response Center. The parking spaces on the garage’s first level are dedicated to valet parking only.

“We are pleased to be able to provide this service free of charge to our patients and visitors,” Ross added. “We believe it will make it easier for them to access the high-quality care which we take pride in providing at Winchester Hospital.”
