Winchester Hospital’s Regional Cancer Program offers a full range of services to diagnose, treat and care for patients with cancer, including radiation oncology, medical hematology/oncology and surgical gynecology/oncology. Services include radiation therapy, infusion and chemotherapy clinics, blood and transfusion product delivery, supportive medications, clinical trial referral whenever medically appropriate, nutritional consultations and a full-time LICSW social worker to assist in navigating through treatment referrals to clinical trials.
The Cancer Program also offers integrative therapies including acupuncture, hypnosis, massage, Reiki and yoga. A Caring Place boutique offers prostheses, head coverings and clothing with personalized fittings, a child life specialist for children with a parent receiving treatment, support groups, pastoral care and a compassionate environment that welcomes family members, friends and others who are meaningful members of our patients' support teams.
The Winchester Hospital Oncology Center's mission is to provide the highest quality care through the coordination of available resources in a supportive setting for the communities we serve by inspiring hope to our patients and families, enhancing life and continually striving for professional excellence.
Winchester Hospital is accredited with commendation by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC) (click here to learn more). Receiving care through a CoC-approved cancer program ensures that a patient will have access to:

Winchester Hospital offers three convenient Cancer Centers located at Baldwin Park II, 7 Alfred St. in Woburn; 88 Montvale Ave. in Stoneham; and a community cancer center at 620 Washington St. in Winchester. The facility at 620 Washington St. houses radiation therapy and hematology/oncology physician offices. Radiation oncology is a service that Winchester Hospital offers in collaboration with Shields Health Care Group. The new service opened in April 2007 and provides a local resource to area cancer patients.
