Winchester Hospital Joins U.S. Army Reserve Employer Partnership Initiative
Winchester, Mass. — Winchester Hospital has become just the third employer in Massachusetts to join the U.S. Army Reserve Employer Partnership Initiative that connects employers and associations with highly skilled workers who are also serving their country.

This unique public-private partnership will allow both organizations to recruit, train and employ people interested in both serving their country and pursuing the health care profession.

“Winchester Hospital is proud to support this important initiative that helps U.S. Army Reserve soldiers advance their private sector careers while they defend our country,” said Dale Lodge, president and CEO of Winchester Hospital.

The U.S. Army Reserve works to provide qualified, tested, skilled and ready soldiers to support crucial national initiatives in times of peace and war. Reserve members are trained in a variety of skills critical to maintaining not only the strength and agility of the U.S. Army, but also the industries and public agencies that form the backbone of the American economy.

The other two Massachusetts employer partners are Easter Seals Massachusetts and EMC Corporation. Among the growing number of health care partners from throughout the country are Cleveland Clinic, Inova Health Systems, St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center, Pacific Medical Centers, Central Baptist Hospital, TriWest Healthcare Alliance, University of Utah Health Sciences and Providence Health & Services.
