Sujatha Rajan, MD, a Fellowship-Trained Urogynecologist, Joins Medical Staff at Winchester Hospital
Winchester, Mass. – Winchester Hospital has welcomed a new fellowship-trained urogynecologist to its medical staff. A resident of Winchester, Sujatha Rajan, MD is practicing at New England Urogynecology in Woburn.

“Many women experience bladder control issues such as an overactive bladder, incontinence and prolapse,” said Arlan Fuller, MD, clinical vice president for the integration of oncology services and academic affiliations at Winchester Hospital. “Instead of suffering in silence, women should seek treatment from an urogynecologist who can offer medical treatments as well as minimally invasive surgical options.”

Dr. Rajan earned her degree in medicine and surgery at Madras Medical College in India and completed the Brigham and Women’s Physician Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.

Dr. Rajan also completed a fellowship in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital; a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital; an internship in internal medicine at Texas A&M College of Medicine’s Scott and White Hospital; and an internship at Madras Medical College.

A clinical instructor at Harvard Medical School since 2006, Dr. Rajan is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She is a member of the American Urogynecological Society, National Association for Continence and American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. She is fluent in English, Hindi and Tamil.

Dr. Rajan is accepting new patients at New England Urogynecology, which is located at 800 West Cummings Park, Suite 2550 in Woburn. To make an appointment or learn more, call (781) 460-2120.
