Winchester Hospital Weight Loss Center Achieves Gold Standard for Excellence
Winchester, Mass. — Winchester Hospital’s Health Management Resources (HMR) Weight Management Program in Medford was recently designated as a recipient of the 2008 HMR Gold Standard Certificate of Achievement.
HMR recognizes programs that demonstrate excellence in performance and patient care by presenting Gold Standard Certificates annually to a select group of clinics across the nation. Winchester Hospital’s HMR Weight Management Program was recognized for its success in the categories of patient retention, weight maintenance and diet compliance.
Winchester Hospital’s HMR Weight Management Program, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary next month at its Medford location, offers a comprehensive approach to weight loss that includes in-depth lifestyle education, personal coaching by registered dietitians, medically supervised treatment and a long-term maintenance program. With both in-clinic and at-home weight-loss options, the clinic staff has helped hundreds of individuals lose between 20 and 200 pounds.
