Winchester Hospital Welcomes Mihaela C. Templer, MD, to its Medical Staff
Winchester, Mass. — Mihaela C. Templer, MD, has joined Winchester Hospital’s medical staff. A resident of North Reading, she is practicing family medicine at Merrimack Valley Family Practice in Andover alongside Christopher Herron, MD.
Previously, Dr. Templer practiced family medicine at the American Family and Geriatric Clinic in St. Petersburg, Fla., and a number of nursing home facilities in that region. She was also a research assistant in the AIDS program at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in Bronx, N.Y., and a pediatrician at Mizil City Hospital at Baba Ana Health Center in Romania.
Dr. Templer earned her doctorate degree from Carol Davila University School of Medicine in Bucharest, Romania. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Bacau County Hospital in Bacau, Romania, and completed a family practice residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center.
Fluent in English and Romanian, Dr. Templer is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice and American Board of Medical Specialties.
