Primary Care Physician Basmaa Ali, MD Joins Medical Staff at Winchester Hospital

Winchester, Mass. – Winchester Hospital welcomes primary care physician Basmaa Ali, MD to its medical staff. A resident of Cambridge, Dr. Ali is accepting new patients at Zanjabee Integrative Medicine and Primary Care in Woburn. Zanjabee combines western medicine with yoga, acupuncture, shiatsu massage and nutrition to provide optimal treatment options for patients.
 
Zanjabee will be offering same day or next day appointments for new patients beginning Tuesday, May 25. An open house will be held on Thursday, June 10 from 12 to 8 p.m. at 300 TradeCenter, Suite 4750 in Woburn.
 
Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Ali is a clinical instructor in internal medicine at Harvard Medical School in Boston. She earned her medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Pakistan, and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from MIT Sloan School of Management in Cambridge. She completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and received her certification in yoga instruction from the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Stockbridge, Mass.
 
Dr. Ali is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. She speaks fluent English, Spanish, Urdu/Hindi and Punjabi.
 
Zanjabee has expert acupuncture, shiatsu massage, ayurveda, yoga, and mindfulness and meditation practitioners on staff.
