William Pachas, MD, a Fellowship-Trained Rheumatologist, Joins Medical Staff at Winchester Hospital

Winchester, Mass. – Winchester Hospital has welcomed a fellowship-trained rheumatologist to its medical staff. A resident of Newton, William Pachas, MD is practicing at Charles River Eye Associates in Winchester.
 
Dr. Pachas received his medical and undergraduate degrees from San Marcos University in Lima, Peru. He completed a medical internship at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., and junior and senior residencies in medicine at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital in Boston. He completed a fellowship in arthritis at the Robert Breck Brigham Hospital & St. Margaret’s Hospital in Boston; a clinical fellowship in arthritis and research fellowship in medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital; and a clinical and research fellowship in medicine at the arthritis unit at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston.
 
Founder of the Center for Rheumatology, Osteoporosis and Fibromyalgia at Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Pachas is a member of the American Society for Microbiology, New England Rheumatism Society and American College of Rheumatology.
