Nayomi Kanchana Edirisinghe, MD, a Fellowship-Trained Breast Surgeon, Joins Medical Staff at Winchester Hospital
Winchester, Mass. – Winchester Hospital has welcomed a fellowship-trained breast surgeon to its medical staff. A resident of Arlington, Nayomi Kanchana Edirisinghe, MD is practicing at the Breast Care Center in Woburn.
Dr. Edirisinghe received her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, and her bachelor’s degree from Tufts University in Medford, Mass. She completed a fellowship in breast surgery at Cambridge Health Alliance in Cambridge, Mass. She also completed a general surgery residency at New England Medical Center in Boston, and a surgery internship at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas.
A clinical fellow at Harvard University in Boston, Dr. Edirisinghe is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. She is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and an associate fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
