Winchester Hospital Neurosurgeon Shapur Ameri, MD Relocates Office to Winchester
Winchester, Mass. – Winchester Hospital physician Shapur Ameri, MD, a board certified neurosurgeon, has relocated his office from Stoneham to Winchester.
A resident of Boston, Dr. Ameri received his doctor of medicine degree from Tehran University Medical School in Iran. He completed postgraduate training in internal medicine and neurosurgery at Pahlavi Medical Center in Tehran; in internal medicine at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia; and in general surgery at Albert Einstein Medical School in Philadelphia. He was a clinical research fellow in neurosurgery at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, Dr. Ameri is a clinical associate professor of neurosurgery at Boston University School of Medicine. He is a member of the New England Neurosurgical Society, American Association of Neurosurgical Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, North American Spine Society, American Academy of Neurological and Orthopaedic Surgeons, Massachusetts Medical Society and American Medical Association.
