Winchester Hospital Soiree for Hope in the City of Light

Soiree for Hope in the City of Light will be held on Friday, November 13, 2015 at the Boston Park Plaza—one of the city’s most elegant and sought-after event venues, a true grande dame of Boston hospitality. This landmark hotel is currently undergoing a complete renovation, adding modern allure and gleaming amenities to its unmatchable stature and worldly sophistication.

Soiree for Hope in the City of Light will benefit our Center for Cancer Care and Breast Care Center. The Centers have more than 35,000 visits per year, expanding local access to state-of-the-art, compassionate care for cancer patients and their families. We have an ambitious goal of raising $500,000 for this year’s Soiree.

With our brand-new theme, the Soiree for Hope will engage guests with an enticing program from start to finish. After being welcomed with gourmet aperitifs and street performers with French flair, guests will be mesmerized by a dazzling Moulin Rouge theatre-in-the-round floor show, punctuated with high-end auction surprises. Next they will mingle on L’Avenue des Champs Elysees, tasting at gourmet French inspired dining stations, followed by aperitif a Maxims, and dancing in the Grand Ballroom. Guests will feel they have been transported to candle-lit bistros on the banks of the Seine as they round out their evening with exquisite patisseries and café au lait.

Over 500 people are expected to attend including community individuals, corporate sponsors, business, hospital leaders, and their guests. The majority of the Soiree guests reside in Middlesex County, an area ranked among the highest in the state for household income and real estate values. With this exciting new theme, we will attract a broad cross-section of ages and backgrounds, re-energizing the hospital’s signature fundraising event.

Cancer touches everyone, either directly or through a loved one. Our renowned Center for Cancer Care and Brest Care Center ease the cancer journey by making high-quality care available locally. We provide expert, interdisciplinary clinical care and a soothing environment for patients and family members during treatment and therapies. The Center for Cancer Care is certified in the STAR® (Survivorship Training and Rehabilitation) Program, improving the health and well-being of patients, and offers the restorative environment of a Healing Garden.
