After making a donation, a Business Partner can choose to involve their employees in a rewarding and unique volunteer experience specifically designed to embrace their organization’s values in an environment that promotes team building.
In an increasingly competitive marketplace successful businesses are evaluated on more than simply their bottom line. Winchester Hospital’s volunteer Citizenship Program is an especially attractive way to enhance your corporate responsibility quotient and reputation as a committed member of the community.
As a member of the Citizenship Program, your employees will have the opportunity to:
- Tour the Hospital (groups of 6-10 are best)
- Receive newsletters from the Foundation & hospital
- Meet with the Director of Volunteer Services and Vice President of the Winchester Hospital Foundation to customize your Citizenship Program
Adopt a Department or Program
Another way for employees of Business Partners to become engaged is our Adopt a Department option, thereby contributing to the mission of a specific service area such as Oncology, Cardiology, Special Care Nursery or the Emergency Room.
Similarly, businesses could opt to Adopt a Program. Programs like CHAMP (Community Hospital Asthma Management Program), which educates parents and children about managing this prevalent chronic disease, present a rewarding opportunity for employees to embrace.
A Caring Place, a program specifically designed to support the needs of patients facing cancer by providing wigs, prosthetics, and comfort items is another worthy example.
There are many exciting programs to consider that will engage your employees as they enjoy learning how our caregivers directly impact the health of the community through a variety of outreach programs.
As a Business Partner member and a supporter of the Adopt a Department or Program, a group of your employees will have the opportunity to:
