  • What information can I view in the MyHealth patient portal?

    In the MyHealth patient portal you can view information from your medical record including, a list of your medications, allergies and adverse reactions, your existing conditions and medical problems, inpatient laboratory results, billing information, insurance providers, personal demographic information and a printable health care summary.

  • How do I see my test results in the MyHealth patient portal?

    You can see your test results by accessing your personal health record and clicking on your “Health Summary."

  • What are other benefits of using the MyHealth patient portal?

  • How do I communicate my medical concerns to my doctor?

    The MyHealth patient portal is not a way to communicate medical concerns to your doctor. IF YOU DO HAVE MEDICAL CONCERNS PLEASE DIAL 911 OR CALL YOUR PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY.

  • Is there a fee to use the MyHealth patient portal?

    No. The MyHealth patient portal is completely free!

  • I don't have an email address, how do I get one in order to sign up for the MyHealth patient portal?

    There are many free email services available to use. Any email service is compatible with the MyHealth patient portal. If you are looking to create a free email account, some of the more established email providers are:

  • How can I sign up?

    If you provided your email address at the time of hospital registration you can sign up now.

    If you did not provide your email address at the time of your hospital registration you will not be eligible to self enrollment. Please call the hospital’s Registration department at 781-756-2225 or 781-756-2227 and ask that your email address be added to your patient account.  After the email is added to your account, you can then self enroll OR you can visit the Medical Records department at the hospital’s main campus (41 Highland Ave. in Winchester) and enroll.

  • How can I update my email address in the MyHealth patient portal?

    If you notice that your email address is incorrect or if you have a new email address, you can update your profile with the correct information. To update your personal information click on the “Profile” button on the home page and then select “Update Profile.”

  • What if I need more information than is available through the MyHealth patient portal?

    If there is information missing from your medical record in the MyHealth patient portal that you need to obtain, please request a paper record from the hospital’s Health Information Management department (781-756-2170 and select menu option 6) or contact your primary care doctor.

  • How do I get a complete set of my medical records?

    Please visit Winchester Hospital’s Health Information Management office at 41 Highland Ave. in Winchester or call 781-756-2170 and select menu option 6.

  • Can I also see my family members’ health records?

    If you have children younger than age 13 then you will have access to their MyHealth patient portal records. MyHealth patient portal access will not be granted to parents of patients between the ages of 13 and 17 years without a completed proxy form.

    Additionally, adult family members can grant you permission to access their patient portal by signing a proxy form. Contact the Medical Records office at the hospital (781-756-2170 and select menu option 6) to obtain a copy of the health care proxy form.

  • Information on the MyHealth patient portal is incorrect. How can I correct this?

    If you notice that your demographic information is incorrect, you can update with your correct information by clicking on the “Profile” button on the MyHealth home page.

  • How is the MyHealth patient portal secure?

    It is our priority to keep your health information safe and secure at all times. Our secure connection utilizes industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) 128-bit encryption to ensure secure data transmission as well as server-side digital certificate authentication. To prohibit unauthorized access, all medical information is stored behind a firewall in our electronic medical record system.
