Winchester Hospital Proudly Honors Our Nurses with The DAISY Award
We are proud to participate in the DAISY Foundation's nurse recognition program, honoring nurses who combine excellent care and compassion for our patients. We present DAISY Awards each month to an outstanding nurse or nurses. These individuals embody professional practice, skill and compassionate care.
Patients, visitors, or colleagues can nominate an extraordinary Winchester Hospital nurse for the DAISY Award. Recognize a nurse who has provided special care and made a difference to you or a loved one.
Help Us Celebrate the Compassion and Skill of Our Extraordinary Nurses
The DAISY Award was established by The DAISY Foundation in memory of J. Patrick Barnes who died at 33 of ITP, an auto-immune disease. The Barnes Family was awestruck by the clinical skills, caring and compassion of the nurses who cared for Patrick, so they created this international award to say thank you to nurses everywhere.
