CPR for Family and Friends
Learn rescue skills in CPR and chokesaving for adults, infants and children. This class is suitable for new parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles. This is not a certification class.
Heartsaver AED and CPR
Learn rescue skills in CPR and choke-saving for adults, infants and children. This is a CPR certification course, and participants must pass a written exam and successfully complete a skills evaluation in CPR and chokesaving and AED rescue skills.
This class is suitable for daycare providers, fitness instructors, police, firefighters, security guards, lifeguards and anyone expected to perform CPR in the workplace.
Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers – Initial Certification
Learn CPR and chokesaving for adults, infants and children. Receive instruction in mouth-to-mask and bag-mask ventilation and automated external defibrillators (AEDs). This course is a prerequisite for the basic life support instructor course.
To obtain certification, attend a four-hour class, pass a written exam and successfully complete a skills evaluation in CPR, AED and choke-saving. To register, view our calendar for the next class date and register online, or call 781-756-4700.
Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers – Recertification
Please bring your current Basic Life Support (BLS) card or a copy to the class to give to the instructor. You must be current in BLS for health care providers in order to receive a new card.

Infant and Child First Aid Classes
You will learn basic first aid for fractures, burns, seizures, etc. This class will help you be prepared to handle a medical emergency including the treatment of bleeding and would care. This class is appropriate for day care providers, fitness instructors, new parents and grandparents. Certification can be provided if needed.
This is a program designed to teach students the fundamentals of safety and child care. This course provides instruction on:
Treating basic first aid emergencies
Performing chokesaving procedures
How to enter the emergency medical system
Handling fire and safety emergencies
