Who Qualifies for Pulmonary Rehabilitation?

Pulmonary Rehabilitation is an exercise and education program that can help people who have been diagnosed with breathing problems such as:

  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
  • Asthma
  • Emphysema
  • Chronic bronchitis
  • Pulmonary fibrosis
  • Lung cancer

What to Expect

Our program is customized, and every patient receives an individualized plan that includes exercise and education. Most patients participate in pulmonary rehabilitation two or three times a week, for up to 36 sessions.

Our staff monitors your vital signs closely as you exercise, to help you make steady, safe progress. Our experienced team includes a medical director/pulmonologist, respiratory therapist, exercise physiologist, registered nurse, and registered dietician, who together provide coordinated support.

Insurance Coverage

Most insurance plans cover the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program when you have a qualifying diagnosis. Please check with your insurer regarding insurance coverage and if a copayment is required.

Hours of Operation

The hours of operation for the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program are:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:30am to 3:30pm
  • Tuesday and Thursday: 7:30 am to 6pm
