Focusing on Patient-Centered Care
Winchester Hospital’s Patient and Family Advisory Council is a group of volunteer patients, family members of patients, and Winchester Hospital clinicians and administrators who meet bimonthly with the goal of improving the hospital’s programs and overall quality and safety.
Members of Winchester Hospital’s Patient and Family Advisory Council:
- Recommend improvements to hospital operations
- Enhance communications and marketing materials for patients
- Strengthen patient education programs
- Review patient satisfaction results
- Offer suggestions for improving the patient experience
- Provide feedback on the hospital’s space planning
- Evaluate any issues which are referred to the council by other hospital committees
Council members were selected based on their backgrounds, experiences and strengths to represent the broad spectrum of patients served by Winchester Hospital and hospital staff members.
