Winchester Hospital Named as Boston Business Journal’s No. 8 Best Place to Work

Winchester Hospital has been named No. 8 on Boston Business Journal’s 2013 Best Places to Work in Massachusetts list in the large company category for excellence in employee satisfaction, working conditions and company culture. Winchester Hospital is the highest ranking of the five hospitals on the list, which also included Lowell General Hospital,Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Newton-Wellesley Hospital and Hallmark Health. 2013 BBJ Best Places

Winchester Hospital has beenrecognized in all 11 years of the regionalawards program’s existence, twice with the No 1 ranking. This year, more than 400 companies qualified forconsideration.

Companies wereevaluated on the results of satisfaction surveys, which includedquestions about work environment,work-life balance, job satisfaction, advancement opportunities, management, andcompensation and benefits. Thesurvey project was launched by BostonBusiness Journal in conjunction with market research firm QuantumWorkplace of Omaha, Neb.
