    Soirée for Hope in the City of Light

    Winchester, MA (Oct. 22, 2015) – Winchester Hospital and the Soirée Committee will host the Soirée for Hope in the City of Light on Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. More than 500 attendees are expected to mark the occasion at the newly and recently renovated Boston Park Plaza Hotel, raising funds dedicated to advancements in cancer care at Winchester Hospital.

    “The funds raised by the gala are crucial to ensuring that our patients have access to state-of-the-art technology, innovative treatments, integrative therapies and other cancer support services, all close to home,” said Kelley Cornell, MD, Associate Medical Director of the Winchester Hospital Breast Care Center. “We are very appreciative of the wonderful support we receive year after year from our sponsors, donors and staff.”

    Over the years, community members have enthusiastically supported cancer services through this annual event, making possible:
    • Extensive genetic counseling services;
    • Training in specialized survivorship care; and
    • Investments in the Winchester Hospital Breast Care Center and the Center for Cancer Care.
    • The Richard C. Heidbreder, MD Patient Comfort Fund, which seeks to alleviate the burden and hardship of the cancer journey by enhancing the patient environment.

    The evening will begin with Aperitif A Maxims and transition to the Moulin Rouge where guests will be delighted by Rich DiMare and his entourage, The Hip Pocket Orchestra as well as French Cabaret entertainment. Guests will continue their French immersion experience on the L ‘Avenue Des Champs Elysees for bistro dining followed by dancing in the Imperil Ballroom. The grand finale includes an invitation for café au lait at an authentic French Patisserie.
