Dr. Phillips Joins Medical Staff


Jeffrey Phillips, MD Joins Medical Staff at Winchester Hospital

Winchester Hospital has welcomed a new family medicine doctor to its medical staff. A resident of Cambridge, Jeffrey Phillips, MD is practicing at Medford Family Care in Medford. 

Dr. Phillips received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester. He completed a three-year residency in family medicine at Tufts University in Boston, where he was chief resident.

Dr. Phillips will be replacing Poul Laplante, MD, who retired in the fall. Dr. Laplante started the practice 20 years ago.

Dr. Laplante said, “Dr. Phillips in addition to being a superb physician, will be a good fit for the practice and I am confident that my patients will be well cared for.”
