Bladder Infection
A bladder infection is inflammation caused by bacteria. It can cause pain and problems
passing urine. It is treated with antibiotics. Symptoms will pass as you recover. Pain
medicine can help manage discomfort. Some people turn to natural treatments to ease
symptoms and prevent repeat infection.
WHAT RESEARCH SHOWS
There is not enough data to support that homeopathy is helpful in treating bladder
infections. We will review future studies as they are published.
No homeopathic remedies have been approved by the United States Food and Drug
Administration (FDA).
HOMEOPATHIC REMEDIES TO BE USED WITH CAUTION
Talk to your doctor about any supplements or therapy you would like to use. Some can
interfere with treatment or make conditions worse.
