Recognizing Individual Achievements at Winchester Hospital

Here at Winchester Hospital, we are extremely proud of all our team members. We work hard on hospital colleague recognition programs to showcase their individual achievements. Below are some of the many ways we recognize our colleagues:

DAISY Awards

The Winchester Hospital community recognizes exceptional nurses with the DAISY Award. This is a nationwide program that identifies nurses who show extraordinary compassion to patients and family members.

We encourage patients, family members and colleagues to nominate a nurse for the DAISY Award.

Annual Service Awards

During Winchester Hospital's annual Service Awards dinner, we recognize employees for their length of service.

Pacesetting Employees Earn Recognition (PEER) Award

We recognize employees who go above and beyond for a patient or a colleague with our PEER awards.

Compassionate Caregiver Award

Each year, Winchester Hospital recognizes a member of its team with the Compassionate Caregiver Award. 

We established this award in memory of long-time Winchester Hospital physician Kenneth Tucker, MD. Dr. Tucker set a great example of giving compassionate care to each of his patients.

Grateful Patient Program

Through Winchester Hospital’s Grateful Patient Program, you can honor your physician, nurse or caregiver with a contribution to the hospital. It’s a wonderful way to say thank you for the great care you or a family member received.
