Karen Keaney, MPAH, RN, ACHCE, Chief Nursing Officer, is passionate about creating a safe environment to both give and receive care and ensuring the provision of high-quality care with a focus on our patients’ experience.
“It is a privilege to lead the department of nursing as we continually build upon a framework for success and evolve beyond the worldwide challenges which ensued over the past few years,” notes Karen. “I am continually inspired by our Winchester nursing teams who demonstrate unparalleled commitment to each other, and to those we serve.”

Experienced Nurses, National Activities
Over the years, our nurses have participated in statewide and national nursing roles. They are well educated and highly experienced. Many of our nurses have been with us for years, and often decades. The average tenure is more than 10 years — a testament to their satisfaction with the professional practice environment of Winchester Hospital.
