Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine Center

For people with a wound that won’t heal, everyday activities can be challenging. Whether it’s going for a walk, doing weekly errands, or spending time with family and friends, a non-healing wound can be more than an annoyance. It can mean restricted activities and another day of pain or discomfort.

Hyperbaric treatment for treatment of chronic wounds

Let Your Healing Begin Today

Winchester Hospital’s Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Center provides specialized treatment for non-healing, chronic wounds, including those that result from poor blood flow, immobility or certain health conditions. When wounds persist, a wound specialist and a new specialized approach are required for healing.

At Winchester Hospital’s Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Center, we offer a variety of state-of-the-art treatments such as debridement, biologic skin substitutes and advanced dressings.

We also offer hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a treatment that has proven effective in fighting infection and building new blood vessels and healthy tissue in the wound. This therapy can be used to treat chronic wounds, heal injuries, treat wounds resulting from radiation therapy, and more.
