Reiki Therapy

About the Energy Healing Therapy

Winchester Hospital offers Reiki therapy as part of our integrative therapies program.

Reiki is a healing technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing. It is a form of energy healing in which hands are placed just off the body or lightly touching the body. Reiki is gentle, non-invasive, non-manipulative and non-intrusive.

The benefits of Reiki include:

  • Relaxation
  • Stress reduction
  • Pain reduction
  • Boosts mood
  • Enhanced sense of well-being

Reiki treatments are also available for inpatients at the hospital who would like this care and for whom it is clinically appropriate.

The fee for Reiki is $45 for 30 minutes, $80 for an hour and $120 for 90 minutes. Pre-payment on Visa or Mastercard is required. Gratuity is not accepted. Winchester Hospital does not bill insurance for Reiki. As some insurances do cover this service, we are able to provide you with the needed documentation to submit a claim yourself.

You will be asked health screening questions upon confirmation of your appointment. Please wear a mask. You will be given a new mask and asked to practice hand hygiene when you arrive.
