Weight Management at Winchester Hospital
Managing your weight can be difficult. At Winchester Hospital, our weight management team is here to help you every step of the way.
We take a team approach to weight management. With an in-house team of providers that includes dietitians and psychiatrists, we can help you make informed decisions about your weight management care.
To help you achieve your weight goals, we offer these services:
- Complimentary weight checks
- Group health sessions (optional) with our weight management providers and other patients
- In-person and telehealth visits
- Support group meetings (optional) focused on different weight management topics
Choosing Care That's Right for You
We offer two types of care for weight management: Medical Weight Management and Bariatric Surgery. However, you don’t 'sign up' for one or the other. When you receive care in our weight management program, we’ll help you understand how or if these different options fit into your personal weight management plan.
Fertility Care
Weight management can support fertility care and treatment. We work closely with the experts in our Fertility Care program and those at New England Fertility Institute.
Pediatrics
We are one of the few facilities in the region offering pediatric weight management care. Learn more about our Pediatric services.
Attend an Information Session
Attend a Virtual Information Session
Get information about weight management at Winchester Hospital during a free virtual information session. Virtual sessions are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm (holidays may affect schedule).
Attend a Support Group Information Session
Our free Support Group Info Sessions guide people who are exploring their weight management options. Support Group Info Sessions are held on the third Wednesday of each month from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Our groups are moderated by healthcare professionals.
